Jennifer Karmin is a poet, artist, and educator who has published, performed, exhibited, taught, and experimented with language throughout the U.S. and Japan. Her multidisciplinary projects intersect writing with sound and image. Currently at home in Chicago, she is a founding member of the public art group Anti Gravity Surprise, curator with the SpareRoom time- arts cooperative, and co-host of the Red Rover reading series. Jennifer works as a Poet-in-Residence for the Chicago Public Schools and teaches creative writing to immigrants at Truman College.
